HR Support

Practical HR Ltd provide our customers with a FREE HR and employment law questions and answers service. This is available to all customers whom we operate Payroll and/or CIS Services.

This is proving to be an invaluable tool for many of our small and medium sized customers as any questions they have relating to HR can be answered, helping to put them back in control.  To ask a question, simply complete the form below and a Consultant from our associates at Practical HR Ltd will send an email response back within 24 hours (excluding weekends).

 
Customer HR Support

Issues and questions surrounding HR can be complex and an email response may not always suffice. In these situations you may be asked for further information or you may receive a telephone call.  In addition you can request a FREE 30 minute face to face consultation* with an HR Consultant.

Additional HR consultancy services are also available as chargeable services. These include: on-site support, drafting and implementation of contracts of employment, employee handbooks and other employment documentation; and/or reviewing and/or setting up your HR systems and procedures or providing support to managers. Any charges would be discussed openly with you well before work would begin.

Terms & Conditions

1. Answers sort through this service are intended to provide customers of Citylights Professional Payroll Solutions Ltd with general information & support relating to Human Resources, employment law and to give a general overview only of the subject matter in question.

1.2 Citylights Professional Payroll Solutions cannot assume any liability or responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of any information supplied in participating within this service.

2. We shall use our best endeavours to complete the services by the time specified, but time shall not be of the essence.

Payment
3. Entitlement to use this service lies solely with either paying customers of Citylights Professional Payroll Solutions Ltd or customers par taking in a previously agreed Free Trial.

3.1. Payments for any pay for services as described shall be invoiced and collected by Practical HR Ltd.

Warranty
4. We warrant that we will use reasonable care and skill in performing the services that we recognise that on rare occasions the quality of our service may not be to our usual standards. In such circumstances the following shall apply:-

4.1. Faults or other queries relating to the quality of the services must be reported to us in writing to the address at the foot of these terms and conditions within 30 days of completion of the services. After this time complaints regarding the quality of the services will not be considered.

4.2. We will arrange that within five days of receipt of your complaint to investigate and report to you and if we are at fault we will correct any mistake in the provision of the services at our cost and as quickly as possible.

4.3. We may use other persons to carry out some or all of the services and in such circumstances we shall ensure that the quality of such work is carried out to the same standard as applies to us.

Confidentiality
5. We will use the information you provide to us only for the purpose for which it was provided and we shall keep such information confidential unless required to be disclosed by order of a court or by a proper request of H.M. Revenue and Customs.

Liability
6. We shall have no liability for any consequential loss or damage suffered by you in connection with the services provided by any act or omission on our part, whether directly or indirectly, including but not limited to wasted time or expenditure, loss of profits, use, revenue or goodwill.

6.1. We shall have no liability in respect of any claim relating to the services unless such claim arises as a result of a breach of contract, negligence or wilful misconduct on our part, and

6.2. The provisions in paragraph 5 above shall apply.

6.3. No limitation shall apply in respect of death or personal injury resulting from the negligence or fraud on our part.

General
7. Amendments: this agreement may only be amended in writing signed by the duly authorised representatives of each party.

8. Agency, partnership etc:  this agreement shall not constitute or imply any partnership, joint venture, agency or other relationship between us other than the contractual relationship provided for in this agreement.

9. Notices: any notice given under this agreement shall be in writing and sent by first class mail or by fax or e-mail (confirmed by first class mail) sent in our case to the address below or in your case to the address which we have on our records.

10. Law and jurisdiction:  the validity, construction and performance of this agreement shall be governed by English law.

11. Third parties: for the purposes of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 this agreement is not intended to, and does not; give any person who is not a party to it any right to enforce any of its provisions.

Force Majeure
12. We shall have no liability under the terms of this agreement for any delays or failures in performance which result from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such circumstances we shall promptly notify you in writing of any delay or failure in performance. If such circumstances continue for a continuous period of three months then either party may terminate this agreement by written notice to the other party.
